The Flanders Institute for Logistics (VIL), founded in 2003, aims to leverage Flanders as a sustainable and innovative logistics top region in Europe.
The bottom-up approach and company driven strategy are key in all VIL activities and projects. With almost 300 member companies and over 6000 business contacts, VIL currently supports the vast majority of the Flemish logistics community.
As of 2012, VIL intends to go global. This Summit will serve as the official launch of an enlarged VIL, where globalisation will be at the forefront of the agenda. We will facilitate the entry into new markets for Flemish companies and provide an attractive proposition for European and overseas investors in Flanders.
The Summit “Supply chains of the future” will be the place for business leaders in Europe to gain new insights. Be prepared for a ‘perfect storm’ that will force us to change the way we think about supply chain design and management.
